Secant Domotics replacement in a condo
The Challenge
We were contacted to replace an outdated domotic system based on Cardio Secant, a 10 years old installation, with the control screen damaged and not working.
The original devices were wired, including an alarm, movement, smoke and flood sensors. The flat was connected to a central water heater system and controlled via electrovalve. Blinds were motorized, but the actual system only allowed to operate all of them together (full up and down only).
Thanks to the customizable Open Smart Homes solution we were able to do the replacement WITHOUT MAJOR REWORK in the condo. All existing elements were reused on the new system. We also changed the existing Wifi devices to enhance the coverage and improve the actual communications inside the flat.
